Founded in September 2024 by Sacha Rose, Studio Evil Eye is a boutique recording studio located in the vibrant heart of Old Sainte-Thérèse.
Designed acoustically by renowned acoustician Nicolas Grou and visually crafted by and Sacha Rose, Evil Eye sets itself apart from traditional studios by blending top-tier equipment and acoustics with a cozy, living-room-like vibe creating a unique and inviting atmosphere.
Our space is crafted to make you feel at home from the moment you step through the door. Whether you are a seasoned artist or just starting out, the relaxed environment eases the pressure, allowing your creativity to flow effortlessly.
The lively neighbourhood offers a variety of local bars and restaurants, perfect for grabbing a bite or a drink, all just steps away from the studio.

ABOUT ME
Hey! My name is Sacha Rose. I am a producer, recording engineer, mixer, musician and owner of Studio Evil Eye.
Like a lot of people, I wondered “What the hell am I going to do with my life?”.
From the moment I entered my first recording studio with my band Juvenile Jury, I knew. Music. Making records is what I wanted to do. I wanted to be a part of it so bad. No matter what it took.
In the following years, I spent (and still spend) all my waking hours learning about recording, engineering, producing, mircrophones, preamps, compressor and mostly wondering “How in the world did they get that sound?!”. I was, and still am, completely obssesed.
From interning at the legendary Electric Lady Studios in New York City to working in and around studios in Montreal, I’ve seen first hand how professional records are made and know what it takes to create them.
To me, the most important thing is making a record that is representative of who the artist truly is and what they want to put out into the world. I always put my 110% into making sure that is what happens. If it means helping out with songwriting, changing up arrangements, setting up sessions in advance so that we can start working from the moment you enter the studio, answering texts quickly, meeting deadlines or even lighting up 100 000 candles. I’m here for it.
